The ABB PP875M is a compact 7-inch touch HMI panel PC designed for operator interaction in industrial and marine applications. Its 800 x 480 pixel 16:9 display provides a practical interface for viewing HMI screens, operating controls, and monitoring system information. The 500 cd/m² brightness provides clear display visibility, while marine optimized dimming can reduce the brightness down to 0.5 cd/m² when required.
The panel PC uses an ARM9 processor running at 1 GHz with 512 MB of main memory. It includes one SD card slot for external storage media and a realtime clock. The resistive touchscreen provides direct operator interaction, allowing users to operate control interfaces directly from the panel.
For equipment connectivity, the PP875M provides one 10/100 Base-T Ethernet port, one USB 2.0 port, and serial communication interfaces. It supports RS232, RS422/485, and RS485, providing connection options for networked equipment and serial devices used in control applications.
The compact panel has a black powder-coated aluminum frame and is designed for panel integration. Front protection is rated IP65, NEMA 4X/12 and UL Type 4X/12, while the rear is rated IP20.
