The ABB PP887H - CFC is a 15.4" rugged touch HMI panel PC designed for industrial and marine control applications where dependable operator interaction is important. Its 1280 x 800 widescreen display provides a practical workspace for HMI screens, process information, equipment status, alarms, and control functions. The resistive touchscreen also supports operation in environments where users may need a more durable touch interface.

The panel uses a 1 GHz ARM9 processor with 2 GB of main memory and provides an SD card slot for external storage. Two shielded 10/100 Base-T Ethernet ports allow network connectivity, while two USB 2.0 ports support compatible peripherals. Serial interfaces including RS232, RS422/RS485, and RS485 make the panel suitable for connecting with industrial devices and control equipment.

For marine environments, the display supports marine optimized dimming down to 0.5 cd/m², allowing the screen brightness to be reduced for applications where low-light operation is important. The 1000 cd/m² brightness also provides strong display visibility in brighter working areas. Its front protection is rated IP66, with NEMA 4X/12 and UL Type 4X/12 protection, while the aluminum construction and conformal coating help support operation in demanding environments.

The PP887H - CFC is rated for an operating temperature of -30 °C to +70 °C and supports 5% to 95% non-condensed operating humidity. Its 4 G vibration and 40 G shock rating, marine certifications, and hazardous-area certifications make it suitable for applications where equipment must operate under strict environmental and installation requirements. It can be used for marine automation, industrial control panels, process monitoring, machinery control, and other rugged operator interface applications.
