Adtran FSP 3000 IP 1RU OLS Open Line System (IPoDWDM, 1.6T)
The Adtran FSP 3000 IP is a 1RU Open Line System designed for IP-over-DWDM (IPoDWDM) networks. It provides a flexible optical platform for point-to-point interconnects, supporting up to 16 wavelengths and up to 1.6Tbit/s per wavelength.
The system supports Adtran and third-party coherent ZR/ZR+ optics and uses DWDM with a flex-grid wavelength configuration. Its 8-channel mux/demux filter and pre- and booster amplification provide the optical infrastructure needed for high-capacity IPoDWDM connections.
The FSP 3000 IP includes automated optical power management, automated span equalization, and automated output power adjustments. Zero-touch provisioning simplifies deployment, while integrated optical channel monitoring provides visibility into optical performance.
For fiber infrastructure monitoring, the system provides continuous OTDR-based fiber monitoring. Open programmable interfaces support network management and integration, while the platform can scale from 400G to 800G and up to 1.6T per wavelength as network capacity requirements increase.
The compact 1RU design can provide up to 8 x 1.6Tbit/s in a single chassis. It is available with 300mm depth and side-to-side airflow or 600mm depth and front-to-back airflow chassis options, with AC or DC power options for data center, enterprise, and service provider deployments.
