Advantech SKY-8232DV2, Dual Socket 2U Edge Rackmount Server
The Advantech SKY-8232DV2 is a dual-socket 2U edge rackmount server designed for high-performance computing, networking, and edge infrastructure applications. It supports 3rd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors with up to 185W TDP per CPU, providing a powerful platform for demanding server workloads.
The system supports up to 32 DDR4 ECC RDIMM or LRDIMM modules running at 3200MHz. It provides up to 64GB per memory channel and a maximum total system memory capacity of 2048GB, making it suitable for memory-intensive applications.
For expansion, the SKY-8232DV2 provides multiple PCIe 4.0 slots in different configurations, including FH/FL and LP options. It also includes an OCP 3.0 PCIe 4.0 x16 module slot for flexible network and expansion options.
Storage connectivity includes internal 2.5-inch SATA SSD bays, rear internal 2.5-inch SATA/PCIe SSD support, and two onboard M.2 2280 SATA slots. Networking is provided by Intel i210-AT Gigabit Ethernet controllers, with three RJ45 connectors and a dedicated management interface.
The server uses a 1200W AC CRPS power module and features six high-speed fans with N+1 redundancy. Its IPMI 2.0-based management system includes an Aspeed AST2500 BMC, Redfish API, iKVM, Node Manager, and Advantech Web GUI support for remote system management.
