Arista 7280CR3-32P4 36-Port 1RU Managed Switch Router
The Arista 7280CR3-32P4 is a 36-port rack-mountable Layer 3 managed switch designed for high-performance network switching and routing environments. It combines 32 × 100 Gigabit QSFP ports with 4 × 400 Gigabit OSFP ports for high-density connectivity.
The switch provides 4.8 Tbps throughput, 2 Bpps switching capacity, and 3.8 µs latency. It supports a 768K-entry MAC address table and 9216-byte jumbo frames, making it suitable for demanding data center and enterprise networking deployments.
The Arista 7280CR3-32P4 supports extensive Layer 3 routing protocols and technologies, including BGP, BFD, ECMP, IS-IS, OSPF, OSPFv3, PBR, RIP-2, static IP routing, URPF, and VRRP. It also supports IPv4 and IPv6 routing with high-capacity route tables.
Management capabilities include CLI, RMON, RMON 2, SNMP 1/2/3, SSH-2, and Telnet. The switch supports RADIUS and TACACS+ authentication, while IEEE standards compliance includes 802.1Q, 802.1p, 802.3ad LACP, 802.3bs, 802.3by, 802.3cm, and IEEE 1588-2008.
The 1RU switch features front-to-back airflow, two hot-plug power supplies, and 1+1 redundant power supply support. It operates from 32°F to 104°F with 5% to 95% humidity and measures 1.7 × 17.3 × 22 inches, making it suitable for rack-mounted high-density network deployments.
