AudioCodes Mediant 9080C VoIP Gateway, 1GbE 1U Rack-Mountable
The AudioCodes Mediant 9080C is a 1RU Session Border Controller (SBC) appliance designed for enterprise voice and unified communications environments. The M9K80C/AC configuration includes a Mediant 9080C chassis with dual AC power supplies and 12 x 1GbE RJ-45 network ports, providing a high-capacity platform for SIP-based communications.
With support for up to 100,000 SBC sessions, the Mediant 9080C is designed for large-scale voice networking and SIP connectivity. It supports SIP trunks, SIP platforms, and IP cloud services, making it suitable for connecting and managing voice communications across different network environments. It is also a certified SBC for Microsoft Teams Direct Routing.
The Mediant 9080C can be deployed for SIP trunking, hosted PBX and UC as a Service, IP contact centers, remote and mobile worker support, SIP mediation between UC and IP-PBX systems, and residential VoIP applications. Its local branch survivability capability supports resilient communications deployments.
The system provides security protection against cyber, DoS and DDoS attacks, eavesdropping, fraud, and service theft. Advanced voice quality optimization and monitoring support reliable voice communications, while 1+1 high availability provides additional resilience for critical deployments.
The appliance is equipped with dual 12-core 2GHz CPUs, 128GB DDR5-4000 memory, and a 2TB SATA mechanical hard drive. Remote management is available through BMC (iDRAC), while VGA monitor and keyboard interfaces support local installation and administration.
