Axiomtek tBOX330-870-FL, Intel Core i7 Marine Fanless Embedded PC
The Axiomtek tBOX330-870-FL is a marine fanless embedded PC designed for demanding onboard computing and control applications. It uses a rugged aluminum extrusion and heavy-duty steel construction with an IP40 rating, providing a durable platform for marine environments. The system is available with an Intel Core i7-35I7UE or Intel Core i3-3217UE processor.
The embedded PC features DDR3-1600 4GB DRAM and an Intel QM77 chipset, with AMI UEFI BIOS and OA 3.0 built in. Its storage options include two removable 2.5” SATA HDDs with lock protection and RAID 0/1 support, along with one CFast™ slot. Three PCIe Mini Card slots and one SIM Card slot provide additional expansion flexibility.
The tBOX330-870-FL provides extensive connectivity through its rear and front I/O. The rear side includes four GbE ports, isolated serial communication, isolated DI/DO, isolated CAN Bus, USB 2.0, audio, VGA, DVI-D, VDC power input, remote power switch, and antenna openings. The front side adds USB 3.0, audio, a reset switch, two 2.5” SATA drive trays, and a CFast™ slot.
For continuous operation, the system includes a 255-level watchdog timer with settings from 0 to 255 sec./min. It operates from 14~32VDC with typical 24VDC input and has a power consumption of 1.8A @ 24V. Its system indicators provide status information for system power, HDD activity, LAN links, and LAN speeds.
The Axiomtek tBOX330-870-FL is designed for harsh operating conditions, with an operating temperature range of -40°C ~ +70°C with W.T. SSD and -25°C ~ +55°C with W.T. HDD. It supports 5% ~ 95% non-condensing humidity and provides vibration endurance of 5 Grms with CFast™ and 1 Grms with HDD. With CE (Class A), IEC 60945 certification, EN 45545-2 compliance, and support for WEBS, WES 7, and Linux, it is suitable for marine computing, vessel monitoring, onboard control, and other embedded applications.
