Axiomtek tBOX810-838-FL, Intel Atom E3845, 4GB DRAM Marine Fanless Embedded PC
The Axiomtek tBOX810-838-FL is a fanless marine grade embedded system designed for onboard computing and marine applications. It features an Intel Atom E3845 4C processor operating at 1.91 GHz with a 10W TDP, 4GB DDR3L-1333 memory onboard, and an SoC integrated chipset. Its aluminum extrusion and heavy-duty steel construction provides an IP40-rated enclosure.
The system provides a range of interfaces for marine equipment and embedded applications. It includes 2 x DB9 serial ports, 2 x USB 2.0, 2 x RJ-45 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports using Intel I210-IT, VGA output supporting up to 1920 x 1080 @60Hz, and a DB9 8-bit programmable DIO. Audio interfaces include Mic-in, Line-out, and optional Line-in.
For storage and expansion, the tBOX810-838-FL supports one internal 2.5" SATA drive and one mSATA interface. It provides two full-size Rev.1.2 PCI Express Mini Card slots, including one USB/PCIe slot with SIM socket and one mSATA/USB/PCIe slot. A 255-level watchdog timer, reset button, remote switch, and four antenna openings further support embedded system integration.
The marine power input uses a terminal block /M12 DC-in supporting 9 to 36 VDC, with typical 24 VDC operation and 24V, 1A power consumption. The system supports wall mount and DIN-rail installation and operates from -40°C to +70°C with W.T. peripheral. It also provides 0% to 95% non-condensing humidity support.
The Axiomtek tBOX810-838-FL includes CE, FCC, EN 50155, EN 45545-2, E-Mark, DNV 2.4, and IEC 60945 certifications. It also supports vibration and shock requirements for marine and transportation environments, with vibration compliance including MIL-STD-810G, EN (IEC) 61373, and IEC 60068-2-6. Supported operating systems include Windows 10 64-bit, Windows 8, Windows 7 64/32-bit, VxWorks7, and Ubuntu 15.10.
