The SecureEdge pro Eth+LTE is designed to connect industrial equipment and networks while providing an edge gateway for secure communication. Its combination of Ethernet and LTE connectivity allows equipment to communicate with local networks as well as remote systems, making it useful where wired infrastructure alone is not sufficient.
The gateway provides 4+1 RJ45 1Gbps LAN connectivity and a separate 1x RJ45 1Gbps WAN interface. LTE connectivity is provided through two SMA Female antenna connectors for the main and diversity connections, along with a GNSS connection. An eSIM and NanoSIM interface provide options for cellular deployment depending on the installation.
Security is an important part of the gateway's role. It supports AES-256-CBC with SHA512 encryption and HTTPS with TLS 1.2 or higher. The digital input is optocoupled and can also be software configured to allow or prevent VPN connections, providing an additional way to control remote access to connected industrial systems.
With 4GB DDR4 memory, USB 3.0 Type-C connectivity, digital I/O, Ethernet, LTE, and GNSS interfaces, the unit provides a compact platform for industrial edge connectivity. Its DIN rail attachment makes it suitable for control cabinets and automation installations where space is limited and equipment needs to remain organized.
The cast aluminium heat sink and ABS plastic housing support a compact industrial design, while the -20°C to +55°C operating temperature range allows the gateway to operate in a range of industrial environments. With CE, FCC, and IEC 62443-related certifications listed, the SecureEdge pro Eth+LTE is suited to industrial networking, secure remote connectivity, and edge gateway applications.
