The Blue Line Ethernet Switch-8800 (Model 2) is an L2 full managed marine switch designed for reliable Ethernet connectivity in marine and industrial environments. Its compact SFF form factor and conduction-cooled fanless design make it suitable for installations where space and cooling are important. The metal construction provides a practical enclosure for demanding onboard networking applications.
The switch provides 8 x 10/100BASE-T/TX ports through RJ-45 and 2 x 1Gb ports through RJ-45/SFP (mini-GBIC) Combo ports. This combination supports connections for Ethernet devices while providing flexible options for network expansion. The switch also includes a Consult port, ground screw, and 6-pin terminal block as part of its input and output interface.
The Ethernet Switch-8800 supports L2 full managed functions for network administration and control. Its security functions include 802.1x with Port Based, MD5/TLS/TTLS/PEAP Encryption and RADIUS. Management options include SNMP v1/v2c/v3, WEB, Telnet, Standard MIB, and Private MIB for network monitoring and configuration.
The switch is designed for marine operating conditions from –15°C to +55°C with humidity support from 5% to 95% (non condensing). It is built to meet Marine standards and carries CE & FCC certification. Fanless cooling helps maintain operation without relying on an internal cooling fan, making it suitable for marine networking installations.
Power is supplied through +24V DC-in with redundant power input, while +12 to +48V input is acceptable. With a compact dimension of 152.0 x 74.0 x 105.0 mm and a net weight of 3.5kg, the switch can be installed where space is limited.
