Broadcom MegaRAID 9560-16i 16 Internal Ports PCIe 4.0 RAID Controller
The Broadcom MegaRAID 9560-16i is a high-performance RAID controller designed for enterprise storage systems requiring multiple internal drive connections. It provides 16 internal ports and uses an x8 PCIe Gen 4.0 host interface for connection to compatible server platforms.
The controller features two x8 SFF-8654 connectors and supports 12Gb/s SAS, 6Gb/s SATA, and Gen 4.0 PCIe (NVMe) storage interfaces. It uses the SAS3916 controller (ROC/IOC) and provides a broad range of RAID levels for flexible storage configurations.
The MegaRAID 9560-16i supports RAID 0, 00, 1, 10, 5, 50, 6, and 60. It supports up to 240 SAS/SATA devices or 32 NVMe devices per controller, making it suitable for storage systems with multiple drives and different storage interface requirements.
An 8 GB cache provides memory for RAID operations, while CacheVault, CVPM05 provides cache protection. The controller has a typical power consumption of 13.2W and operates with 12V ±8% and 3.3V ±9% operating voltage.
