Calian Tallysman TW3972E Embedded Triple Band GNSS Antenna with L-Band Support
The Calian Tallysman TW3972E is an embedded triple-band GNSS antenna designed for multi-frequency satellite navigation applications with L-band correction support. It uses a dual-feed stacked RHCP ceramic patch technology and provides pre-filtered operation across lower, L-band correction, and upper frequency ranges.
The antenna covers 1165–1254 MHz in the lower band, 1539–1559 MHz for L-band correction, and 1559–1606 MHz in the upper band. Its 37 dB typical gain, 2.5 dB typical noise figure, and pre-filtered design support GNSS signal reception in applications requiring multi-band positioning and L-band correction capabilities.
The TW3972E features a compact 62 mm diameter × 17 mm height design and weighs 70 g. It is mounted using 5 × M2 screws, making it suitable for embedded equipment where a compact and mechanically secure antenna installation is required.
Designed for demanding environments, the antenna operates from -40°C to +85°C and withstands vibration according to MIL-STD-810D Method 514.3-1. It also provides shock resistance, salt-fog compliance, and 15 kV air-discharge ESD circuit protection. Compliance includes IPC-A-610, FCC, CE RED, RoHS, and REACH.
The antenna can be used in embedded GNSS equipment requiring triple-band reception, L-band correction support, compact installation, and rugged environmental performance. Its wide supply voltage range of 2.5–16 VDC provides flexibility for integration into compatible positioning and navigation systems.
