Captec MCS-431, Intel 4th Generation i7-4770TE, 32GB Marine Computer
The Captec MCS-431 is a marine computer designed for reliable computing in demanding marine environments. It supports Intel© 4th Generation processors, including the i7-4770TE, and provides up to 32GB DDR3 memory for marine applications that require dependable system performance.
The MCS-431 uses the Q87 chipset and supports SSD / HDD storage with an optional hotswap bay. Its integrated processor graphics support three independent displays, while optional dual or quad graphics cards provide additional display capability for suitable system configurations.
For connectivity and expansion, the marine computer provides 3 x full length slots and 1 x mini-PCIe slot. It also includes 2 x gigabit LAN ports, with optional single or dual Ethernet cards, along with USB connectivity and several optional serial communication interfaces.
The system is built with an aluminium alloy chassis and heat pipe cooling. Its isolated 24VDC PSU and 9-36VDC input support marine power requirements, while the operating temperature range of -15oC to 55°C allows operation across a wide range of conditions.
The Captec MCS-431 supports Windows 7/8/10 and Linux operating systems. It also carries IEC60945, DNV 2.4, IACS E10, and CE certifications, making it suitable for marine computer installations requiring certified hardware and flexible expansion options.
