The Captec MCS-44 is a marine certified 4U server designed for demanding marine computing applications. It features an Intel® Xeon E5-2680v4 processor and a steel chassis, providing a robust server platform for installations where reliable computing and durable construction are required.

The server supports up to 512GB DDR4 ECC RDIMM, with 128GB DDR4 non-ECC UDIMM available as an optional configuration. Its C612 chipset and SSD / HDD storage support with optional hot swap provide flexibility for different server requirements.

The MCS-44 provides extensive expansion through 5 slots, including 4 x PCIe x16 3.0 and 2 x PCIe x1 2.0. It also provides 2 x Gigabit LAN ports, optional interface cards, and optional 10GbE fibre for network connectivity.

Rear I/O includes 6 x USB 3.0, HD audio ports, and a PS/2 mouse/ keyboard port. Internal I/O includes 10 x SATA3, 2 x USB 3.0, 1 x TPM, and 1 x RS232, with optional 4 or 8 port isolated RS232/422/485 cards available.

The server supports Windows 7/8/10, Windows Server 2012, and Linux operating systems. It operates from 110-240 VAC, 50/60Hz, isolated input voltage and supports an operating temperature range of -15°C to 55°C. IEC60945, IACS E10, DNV 2.4, and CE certifications support its use in marine environments.
