Cisco QDD-400G-LR4-S 400G 10km Duplex SMF QSFP-DD Transceiver Module
The Cisco QDD-400G-LR4-S is a 400G QSFP-DD transceiver designed for high-speed optical networking over duplex single-mode fiber. It supports the 400GBASE-LR4 optical standard and provides a reach of up to 10 km.
The module uses a QSFP-DD form factor with a duplex LC SMF PC/UPC connector. It is designed for G.652 fiber and operates across four CWDM optical wavelengths: 1270, 1290, 1310, and 1330 nm.
The transceiver supports a data rate of 425 Gbps and features a high-speed electrical interface of 400GAUI-8/CEI-56G-VSR-PAM4. It complies with IEEE 802.3cu and the 100G Lambda MSA 400G-LR4 specification.
With a maximum power consumption of 6.3 W, the module operates within a temperature range of 0 to 70°C. FEC is performed on the host platform, while the specified BER is 2.4 × 10⁻⁴.
The Cisco QDD-400G-LR4-S supports Cisco switches and routers, with compatibility determined according to the Cisco Transceiver Modules Compatibility Matrix. It provides 10 km link reach with 400GBASE-LR4 and 6 km with 400GBASE-LR4-6.
