Cisco SFP-25G-SR-S 25GBASE-SR SFP28 MMF 100m Transceiver Module
The Cisco SFP-25G-SR-S is a 25GBASE-SR SFP28 transceiver module designed for 25 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over multimode fiber (MMF). It provides high-speed optical networking with a maximum link length of up to 100 m on compatible OM4 and OM5 fiber.
This 25G SFP28 transceiver operates at an 850 nm wavelength and uses an LC Duplex connector. It is designed for MMF applications and supports a 50.0-micron fiber core size.
The module supports different modal bandwidth and cable distances depending on the fiber type. It provides 70 m on OM3, 100 m on OM4, and 100 m on OM5 MMF.
With a maximum power consumption of 1.2 W, the Cisco SFP-25G-SR-S provides a compact optical connectivity solution for compatible networking equipment. The module supports host RS-FEC according to IEEE Clause 108.
The transceiver has transmit and receive wavelength operation across 840–860 nm. Its specified transmit and receive optical power levels support reliable 25GBASE-SR connectivity over supported MMF links.
