You need a fast, reliable link that can move huge amounts of data without dropping a packet, and the Coherent FTLC3353S3PL1, 100G ZR QSFP28 Digital Optics Transceiver delivers exactly that. This module is a high-performance, 100-gigabit coherent optics transceiver designed for long-haul fiber networks. It solves the common problem of weak signal strength over long distances, giving you a stable connection up to 300 km. If your network must handle data-center traffic, cloud services, or carrier back-haul, you need this product to keep your links fast and error-free.
The main issue many operators face is signal loss when trying to push 100 Gb/s over hundreds of kilometers of single-mode fiber. Weak signals cause retransmissions, higher latency, and costly downtime. This transceiver uses coherent detection and a powerful 0 dBm output to keep the optical signal strong, so you get a clean link that meets service-level agreements. By combining digital diagnostics with a rugged C-temp design, the device offers a clear, maintenance-friendly solution for demanding networks.
High Tx output power (0dBm) w TOF, 100GE & OTU4, C-temp, 0°C to 70°C, CMIS. Built around the Coherent Steelerton DSP, the 100G ZR QSFP28-DCO transceiver is fully compliant to the IEEE 802.3™-2022 100GBASE-ZR standard, ensuring interoperability with other solutions. The Steelerton DSP is the first purpose-built DSP for 100G ZR applications, optimized for the lowest power dissipation and smallest size. In the QSFP28 module the DSP is paired with a highly efficient silicon photonics optical front-end and a power-optimized tunable laser, resulting in a typical module power dissipation of less than 5W. To facilitate deployment in a wide variety of edge network locations, including street cabinets or pole mount enclosures, the 100G ZR QSFP28-DCO module will also be offered in a version that supports industrial temperature ranges. To simplify network installation and operation, the module offers value-add software features like:
• Flextune™ automatic wavelength configuration, where the transceiver autonomously searches for the right wavelength that allows end-to-end connectivity across the DWDM network, enabling zero-touch provisioning with significant OpEx savings (faster installation, minimizing risk for technician error, …).
• Remote digital diagnostics, where a transceiver in a central office location can access the digital diagnostics of the transceiver at the remote end of the link and feed that information back to the network management system, without the need for a separate supervisory channel to the remote location.

We are retiring PICOPC Products MNHO-073, MNHO-048 and MNHO-043 and they have reached EOL (End Of Life) as we are introducing new products with better technology. We would recommend you to look into MNHO-095. For Untangle, pfSense, OPNsense, Windows 11, Proxmox VE etc. we recommend MNHO-095 whereas for Sophos, Kerio Control and Endian, we would recommend MNHO-069. (A complete list of supported OS can be found in each product's listing)
