The ComAP CM-EICC is a plug-in module extending the inter-controller communication capabilities of compatible ComAp systems. It provides a wired inter-controller connection through an Ethernet port, allowing controllers to communicate over a dedicated network rather than requiring a separate external communication device.
The module supports STAR and RING dedicated network topology, making it suitable for systems where multiple controllers need to be connected in an organized communication network. These topologies can help arrange controller connections according to the requirements of the installation.
The CM-EICC provides a 100 Mbit/s full-duplex Ethernet interface through an RJ45 socket. This gives the connected controllers a dedicated wired communication path for inter-controller networking and system coordination.
