MPN #: ID3700MXBAA

When a marine engine needs reliable control and monitoring in a vessel environment, the controller must handle varying DC supply conditions, engine signals, communication networks, and demanding onboard conditions. The ComAp InteliDrive 700 Marine is designed for this type of engine-control application, combining display, measurement, I/O, communication, and output control functions in one marine-oriented controller.

ComAp InteliDrive 700 Marine (ID3700MXBAA), Marine Engine Controller

The InteliDrive 700 Marine provides a central interface for monitoring and controlling marine engine systems. Its 24 V / 12 V DC supply capability and wide 8-36 V DC range allow it to operate across common marine power conditions, while the integrated power-supply and battery-sense measurements help monitor the controller's electrical supply.

The controller includes a 5" colour IPS TFT display with 800 × 480 px resolution, giving operators a local interface for viewing engine information and system conditions. Its front-side IP65 protection, marine-oriented environmental specifications, vibration and shock resistance make it suitable for installations where equipment can be exposed to movement, temperature changes, and other demanding conditions.

For engine and equipment signals, the controller provides multiple analog and binary inputs. The analog inputs can be configured for resistance, voltage, current, or thermocouple-related measurements, while the binary inputs support engine and system status signals with broken-wire detection. This allows different types of sensors and switching signals to be connected to the controller according to the monitoring requirements.

The InteliDrive 700 Marine also provides multiple outputs for controlling connected equipment. Its 12 binary outputs support high-side and other output functions, while analog outputs provide voltage, current, and PWM options. Additional PWM outputs can support applications requiring adjustable duty cycle and frequency control, making the controller suitable for engine control functions that require more than simple monitoring.

For integration with marine control systems, the controller includes Ethernet, USB, and isolated CAN communication interfaces, including CAN FD support. With its combination of engine I/O, local display, control outputs, communication interfaces, and marine-oriented operating conditions, it can be used as a central controller for marine engine monitoring and control systems.

The InteliDrive 700 Marine is a next-generation engine supervision controller for marine applications, designed to manage auxiliary, emergency, harbour, and propulsion engines on board vessels. Building on 25 years of ComAp marine engine control experience, it replaces the proven ID-DCU Marine platform with modern cybersecurity compliance, expanded connectivity, and support for all fuel types including methanol, LNG, and dual-fuel engines.
