The Cortron Model 121, QWERTY Layout Rack Mount Rugged Marine Keyboard is designed for marine, military, and other demanding environments where a durable keyboard is required. It features a full function QWERTY layout with 0.75” OC typical key spacing and MIL-STD-1472 MOPP IV ergonomics.
The keyboard uses Cortron Forever keys and legends that are chemically and abrasion resistant. The keys provide full travel and are rated for 100 million cycles. Standard USA layout is available, while custom keycap legends and multi color keys are also available upon request.
Backlighting is available with negative image legends where the legends glow, along with key brightness control. Available backlight colors include Green, Red, Yellow, White, Blue, NVIS Green A or B. Low power backlighting requires no extra power.
The Cortron Model 121 supports USB, SUN USB, PS2, and other interfaces upon request. Connection options include bulkhead or attached cable configurations with various cable lengths, using 9-Pin D-Sub, MIL Circular, or custom connections. Multiple pointing device options are available, including 1-3/8” or 2” trackballs, DuraPuck, and Touch Pad.
The rugged keyboard uses a durable metal enclosure with a scratch resistant finish and supports panel, table, rack, or custom mounting. Standard sealing is NEMA 4 and IP65, with optional NEMA 6 and IP67 sealing. The keyboard is designed for demanding conditions with MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, IEC60945, and other specified environmental and military standards.
