Digi Connect EZ 16 EZ16-A100, 16-Port RS-232 Serial Server
The Digi Connect EZ 16 EZ16-A100 is a 16-port RS-232 serial server designed to connect multiple serial devices to Ethernet networks. It provides 16 RJ45 10-pin RS-232 serial ports with support for essential serial signals and multiple flow control options.
The device features two 10Gb-capable SFP+ sockets and two 10/100/1000 Mbps auto-sensing Ethernet ports. Its RS-232 interface supports TXD, RXD, RTS, CTS, DTR, DSR, DCD, and RI signals, along with XON/OFF, CTS/RTS, and RTS-toggle flow control.
For additional connectivity, the Digi Connect EZ 16 includes a dedicated RJ45 10-pin RS-232 console port, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and a Micro XSD socket supporting SD, SDHC, and SDXC media. System and per-port LEDs provide status information for the device and connected interfaces.
The unit supports single or dual AC input through C13 connectors and dual DC power when used with EZ-AD00 and the supplied Phoenix connectors. It also supports redundant field-replaceable power supplies for improved power availability.
With a compact 1U-style rack form factor and attachable 19-inch rack ears, the Digi Connect EZ 16 measures 25.5 x 44.5 x 4.445 cm. It operates from 0°C to 50°C and supports 5% to 95% non-condensing relative humidity.
