Digi Connect EZ 32 EZ32-A100, 32-Port RS-232 Serial Server
The Digi Connect EZ 32 EZ32-A100 is a 32-port RS-232 serial server designed to connect multiple serial devices to modern Ethernet networks. It provides 32 RJ45 10-pin serial ports for RS-232 communication, making it suitable for centralized serial device management.
The device includes two 10Gb-capable SFP+ sockets and two 10/100/1000 Mbps auto-sensing Ethernet ports for flexible network connectivity. The RS-232 ports support TXD, RXD, RTS, CTS, DTR, DSR, DCD, and RI signals with XON/XOFF, CTS/RTS, and RTS-toggle flow control options.
Additional connectivity includes a dedicated RJ45 10-pin RS-232 console port, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and a Micro XSD socket supporting SD, SDHC, and SDXC media. Status LEDs provide visibility for system functions and individual Ethernet, serial, console, and USB ports.
The Digi Connect EZ 32 supports field-replaceable power supplies, including single or dual AC power and dual DC power configurations. Its redundant replaceable power supply design helps support continuous operation in demanding network environments.
With a 1U-style rack form factor and attachable 19-inch rack ears, the unit measures 25.5 x 44.5 x 4.445 cm and operates from 0°C to 50°C. It supports 5% to 95% non-condensing relative humidity.
