The Edgecore AGR560 AS9947-36XKB is a high-capacity 100/400G aggregation router designed for data center, telecom, service provider, and high-performance network environments. It provides 12 x 400GbE QSFP-DD ports, 24 x 100GbE QSFP28 ports, and 4 x 10GbE SFP+ combo ports for dense high-speed network aggregation.

The router supports multiple port modes to provide flexible connectivity across different network speeds. Its QSFP28 ports support 100G and 40G operation, while the QSFP-DD ports support 400G connectivity and breakout configurations for 100G, 50G, 25G, and 10G connections.

The AGR560 uses Broadcom BCM88851 Jericho2c+ switch silicon with Broadcom BCM16000 OP2 TCAM and an Intel Xeon D Ice Lake 8-Core 3.1GHz processor. With 64GB DDR4 ECC memory, a 480GB NVMe SSD, TPM2.0, and an AST2600 OpenBMC controller, it provides a powerful platform for demanding aggregation and network management workloads.

For synchronization, the router supports SyncE and IEEE1588v2 PTP and provides dedicated 1PPS, 10MHz, and ToD timing ports. It also supports a wide range of optical transceivers, DAC, AOC, and AEC cables, allowing it to integrate into different high-speed optical and direct-attach network environments.

The AGR560 delivers up to 14.4 (28.8) Tbps switching capacity with 8 GB packet buffering and jumbo frames up to 9416 Bytes. Its 2RU chassis features hot-swappable 3+1 redundant fans and two redundant, load-sharing, hot-swappable AC or 48VDC power supplies for reliable rack-based network deployments.
