EdgeCore CSR200 AS5915-18X Intel Atom C3308 64 Gbps Open Cell Site Router
The EdgeCore CSR200 AS5915-18X is a compact open cell site router designed for mobile backhaul and service provider network deployments. It combines 1GE and 10GE interfaces with Broadcom Qumran-UX switching silicon and an Intel Atom C3308 processor, providing a flexible platform for modern telecom infrastructure.
With 64 Gbps bidirectional switching capacity and a 125 Mpps processing rate, the CSR200 is built to handle high-throughput Layer 2 and Layer 3 forwarding. Its combination of six SFP+ ports, eight SFP ports, and four 1G copper ports provides multiple connectivity options for aggregation and cell site networking.
The router includes dedicated management and timing interfaces, including a serial console, 1000BASE-T management port, USB storage, BITS, TOD/1PPS, 1PPS I/O, and 10MHz I/O. These interfaces support network management and timing requirements for telecom deployments where accurate synchronization is important.
Designed for demanding outdoor and telecom environments, the CSR200 supports an operating temperature range from -40°C to +70°C and can be installed in standard 19", 21", and 23" racks. Its 440 × 240 × 44 mm 1RU form factor provides a compact installation option for network sites with limited rack depth.
The EdgeCore CSR200 also uses ONIE, providing an open platform for network operating system integration. It is suitable for mobile backhaul, LTE and 5G network infrastructure, cell site aggregation, and other service provider applications requiring high-density Ethernet connectivity, hardware-based timing, and a temperature-hardened design.
