ETL GNS-106-1U GENUS 1U Modular Chassis RF Distribution Equipment
The ETL GNS-106-1U GENUS is a 1U modular chassis designed for RF distribution equipment and field-serviceable RF modules. It supports up to 17 modules, with the actual module capacity dependent on the type of modules installed.
The chassis has a 1U-high, 19-inch-wide design with a depth of 550 mm and a weight of less than 10 kg. It features an RAL9003 white semi-matte finish and is designed for indoor equipment installations.
The GNS-106-1U operates from 85-264V AC at 50/60Hz and has a maximum steady-state consumption of 275W. It uses dual redundant, alarmed power supplies with Diode OR and hot-swap capability, helping maintain power availability during PSU replacement.
RF modules are single and field replaceable. The chassis also provides field serviceability for the CPU and HMI, with an optional internal and external 10MHz reference source. The specified MTTR is 20 minutes, based on 15 minutes to retrieve a spare part and 5 minutes to replace it, assuming in-house stock.
For control and monitoring, the chassis includes a local HMI with capacitive touchscreen and remote Ethernet connectivity through RJ45 using 10BaseT/100BaseTx. It supports the ETL TCP/IP protocol, SNMPv3, HTTPS, and a built-in web server. The unit operates from 0°C to +45°C and supports indoor humidity from 20% to 90% non-condensing.
