Exor eXware 703, 4GB Flash 32-bit RISC single core Edge Gateway
The Exor eXware 703 is an edge gateway designed to connect industrial equipment and exchange data between field devices and higher-level systems. It uses a 32-bit RISC single-core processor running at 1 GHz with Linux RT, providing a compact platform for edge communication and gateway functions.
The gateway includes 4 GB of Flash and 512 MB of RAM for its system resources. Its Real Time Clock, RTC Back-up, buzzer, and battery provide additional support for applications that require time-related system functions and continuous device operation.
For industrial connectivity, the eXware 703 provides two 10/100 Ethernet ports, one USB 2.0 host port, and a software-configurable serial interface supporting RS-232, RS-485, and RS-422. SD card support and one expansion slot for plug-in modules allow the gateway to accommodate additional requirements where needed.
Its compact enclosure is designed for DIN rail installation, making it suitable for control cabinets and other space-limited industrial environments. The 24 Vdc power input, electronic input protection, and IP20 protection class support installation as part of a protected industrial control system.
