The Exor PLCM06 is a plug-in module designed for applications where a PROFIBUS DP slave interface is required with JMobile. It allows a compatible Exor host system to operate as a PROFIBUS DP slave and communicate with a PROFIBUS DP master within an industrial automation network.

The module supports PROFIBUS DP with a maximum speed of 12 Mb. Its optical isolation provides electrical separation for the communication interface, which can help maintain reliable communication when the module is installed in industrial control environments with electrically noisy equipment.

PLCM06 uses a DB 9 connector for the PROFIBUS connection and is compatible with Series 500, 500G, 600, eX and eXware platforms. This allows the same communication expansion approach to be used across supported Exor product families.

The module is intended specifically for JMobile applications requiring PROFIBUS DP slave communication. By installing it directly into a compatible host product, the communication interface can be added without using a separate external PROFIBUS device.

For installation conditions, the PLCM06 operates from 0° to +50°C and can be stored from -20° to +70°C. It has IP20 protection and provides CE and RCM approvals, with CE requirements covering industrial and marine environments.
