When a compact control system needs to connect several 24Vdc field signals and operate outputs without using multiple I/O modules, a small mixed-I/O unit can simplify the installation. The Exor PLIO06 is a compact I/O module providing 8 digital inputs, 6 digital outputs, and 1 relay output. It is designed to bring multiple field signals into a control system while also providing outputs for controlling compatible industrial devices.
The 8 digital inputs are source active high (+24Vdc) inputs with an input voltage range of 12 - 30 Vdc. They feature optical isolation and programmable input filtering from 0.1ms to 20ms, allowing the module to handle digital signals while providing electrical separation from the connected control system.
For output control, the module provides 6 source-type digital outputs with feedback of output driver fault status. These outputs support 12 - 30Vdc and a nominal output current of 0,5A. Overcurrent and overtemperature protection helps protect the output drivers during operation.
The additional relay output provides two contacts for open/close operation and is specified for resistive loads. It supports a rated load of 1A at 30Vrms, with a maximum switching voltage of 42.4Vac (30Vrms); 60Vdc and a maximum switching current of 1A.
The PLIO06 uses removable spring-type terminal connectors and is designed for vertical installation at 0 to 50 °C. With IP20 protection and DNV-GL, LR, EU RO MR and RCM approvals, it can be used in suitable industrial and marine-oriented control installations.
