When a boat has multiple navigation, sonar, video, and network systems, a small chartplotter can make it difficult to view detailed charts and connected equipment at the helm. The Garmin GPSMAP 9024 provides a large 4K touchscreen display with marine networking, navigation memory, video inputs, and support for compatible sonar and Garmin systems, giving operators a central interface for vessel navigation and monitoring.
The Garmin GPSMAP 9024 is a premium marine chartplotter designed for boats that need a large, detailed navigation display. Its 4K IPS touchscreen provides 3840 x 2160 pixels across a large 23.8-inch diagonal display, making charts, navigation information, vessel data, and compatible connected-system information easier to view from the helm.
The touchscreen interface provides direct control of the chartplotter while flush or flat mounting allows the unit to be integrated into different helm layouts. With an IPX7 water rating and a 10 to 35 Vdc power input, the GPSMAP 9024 is designed for marine installations where exposure to water and variable DC electrical systems are part of normal operation.
For navigation and position information, the GPSMAP 9024 includes a 10 Hz receiver and supports GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou. It can store up to 5,000 waypoints, 50,000 track points, 50 saved tracks, and 100 navigation routes. The system also supports two SD cards and compatible Garmin chart and mapping options, including Garmin Navionics+, Garmin Navionics Vision+, LakeVü g3, LakeVü g3 Ultra, TOPO 100K, Garmin Quickdraw Contours, and raster chart support.
The chartplotter can also serve as a central interface for connected marine equipment. It provides NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 connectivity, Garmin BlueNet network ports, J1939 connectivity, USB-C ports, and video connections including BNC composite and HDMI inputs. Compatible black box sonar systems can provide Traditional, ClearVü, and SideVü sonar information on the display, while AIS, DSC, ActiveCaptain, OneHelm, Fusion-Link compatible radios, and other supported marine functions extend its monitoring and navigation capabilities.
With 10 to 35 Vdc input, typical current draw of 6.5A at 12 Vdc, and maximum power usage of 82W at 10 Vdc, the GPSMAP 9024 is suited to larger onboard navigation installations. Its combination of a large 4K touchscreen, navigation storage, multi-constellation positioning, chart support, video connectivity, marine networking, and compatible sonar support makes it a practical central display for helm and navigation stations.

We are retiring PICOPC Products MNHO-073, MNHO-048 and MNHO-043 and they have reached EOL (End Of Life) as we are introducing new products with better technology. We would recommend you to look into MNHO-095. For Untangle, pfSense, OPNsense, Windows 11, Proxmox VE etc. we recommend MNHO-095 whereas for Sophos, Kerio Control and Endian, we would recommend MNHO-069. (A complete list of supported OS can be found in each product's listing)
