The CK65 is the next-generation successor to the CK3R and CK3X, now running Android and the Honeywell Mobility Edge platform. It blends a full keypad with a 4-inch capacitive multi-touch LCD, so your team can choose the input method they prefer. The WVGA display (480 x 800) offers 2.3-times higher resolution than older models, making barcodes and data easier to read even in bright warehouse lighting.

Built for tough environments, the device meets an IP64 rating and survives multiple 2.4 m (8 ft) drops to concrete. Its 18-hour Li-Ion battery supports hot-swap, letting workers change power without rebooting and stay on the floor for more than two shifts. The integrated Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with eight cores runs at 2.2 GHz, delivering fast app performance and smooth scanning.

Honeywell’s imaging engine reads 1D/2D barcodes from 40 mm to 964 mm (6 in to 50 ft) right out of the box. An optional scan handle lets you switch between handheld and pistol-grip modes, adapting to different workflow styles. With Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and support for common security algorithms, the CK65 connects securely to your network and can run VoIP or push-to-talk communications.

Usage

In a warehouse setting, the CK65 can be mounted on a forklift or carried in a belt pouch. Workers can scan pallets from a distance, enter data via the keypad, or use the touchscreen with gloves or a stylus. The device’s gyroscope, accelerometer and ambient light sensor automatically adjust screen brightness and orientation, ensuring optimal visibility in varying lighting conditions.
