Huawei OptiXaccess EA5801E-FL16 is a box-shaped Optical Line Terminal designed for high-capacity fiber access networks. With 16 Flex-PON service ports and 4 GE/10GE upstream ports, it provides a flexible platform for deploying GPON and XG(S)-PON access services in enterprise, broadband, and telecom environments.
The EA5801E-FL16 delivers a system switching capacity of 240 Gbit/s and supports access for up to 2048 ONTs. It also provides 32,768 MAC addresses, an IPv4 routing table of 8192 entries, an IPv6 routing table of 4096 entries, and an ARP table of 16,384 entries to support large-scale network deployments.
Its 16 Flex-PON ports allow network operators to build flexible fiber access infrastructure while the 4 GE/10GE upstream ports provide high-speed connectivity toward the aggregation or core network. The combination makes the Huawei OptiXaccess EA5801E-FL16 suitable for broadband access, enterprise connectivity, and other high-density optical networking applications.
The OLT supports both AC and DC power supply modes with dual backup, helping improve power availability in network deployments. It is designed to operate across an ambient temperature range of –40°C to +65°C and supports environments with 5%–95% RH humidity and altitudes below 4000 m.
The Huawei OptiXaccess EA5801E-FL16 also provides high system reliability, with typical configuration system availability above 99.999%. Its compact box-shaped design supports flexible installation while offering a maximum fully-loaded weight of 5 kg, making it suitable for space-conscious fiber access deployments.
