Huawei OptiXstar EG8145B7-50 GPON Wi-Fi 7 Routing-Type ONT
The Huawei OptiXstar EG8145B7-50 is a GPON routing-type Optical Network Terminal designed to provide high-speed broadband and advanced wireless connectivity for home and network access deployments. It combines GPON access with dual-band Wi-Fi 7 technology in a compact 40 mm × 150 mm × 108 mm design.
The EG8145B7-50 provides a GPON NNI with an SC/APC optical connector and includes 4GE Ethernet ports, 1 POTS port, 1 USB port, and 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi 7. Its Ethernet interfaces support auto-adaptive 10 Mbit/s, 100 Mbit/s, and 1000 Mbit/s operation.
For GPON connectivity, the Huawei OptiXstar EG8145B7-50 uses a Class B+ optical interface with -27 dBm receiver sensitivity and -8 dBm overload optical power. It supports 1310 nm upstream and 1490 nm downstream wavelengths, G.984.5 wavelength blocking filtering, flexible GEM Port and TCONT mapping, authentication, bidirectional FEC, SR-DBA, and NSR-DBA.
The dual-band WLAN system supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax/be on 2.4GHz and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax/be on 5GHz. With 2×2 MIMO, 160 MHz bandwidth, 4096 QAM, OFDMA, MU-MIMO, beamforming, band steering, WPA3, and MLO, it provides air interface rates of up to 688 Mbit/s on 2.4GHz and 2882 Mbit/s on 5GHz.
The EG8145B7-50 also provides voice and USB networking functions. Its POTS port supports multiple voice codecs, fax modes, DTMF, and emergency calls, while the USB 2.0 port supports FTP-based network storage, SAMBA file and print sharing, and DLNA. The ONT operates from 0°C to 40°C and supports 100–240 V AC power adapter input.
