Huawei OptiXstar EG8145B7N-50 GPON Wi-Fi 7 Routing-type ONT
Huawei OptiXstar EG8145B7N-50 is a GPON routing-type Optical Network Terminal designed to deliver high-speed wired and wireless connectivity for modern broadband networks. It combines a GPON optical interface with 2.5GE and Gigabit Ethernet ports, POTS, USB 2.0, and dual-band Wi-Fi 7 in a compact design.
The ONT features 1x2.5GE and 3xGE Ethernet interfaces, supporting auto-adaptive speeds up to 2500 Mbit/s on the 2.5GE port and up to 1000 Mbit/s on the GE ports. Ethernet functions include VLAN tagging and tag removal, 1:1 VLAN, N:1 VLAN, QinQ VLAN, VLAN transparent transmission, and MAC address learning for flexible network configuration.
The Huawei OptiXstar EG8145B7N-50 provides dual-band Wi-Fi 7 connectivity using 2×2 MIMO on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. It supports air interface rates of 688 Mbit/s at 2.4 GHz and 2882 Mbit/s at 5 GHz, along with 4096 QAM, 160 MHz bandwidth, OFDMA, MU-MIMO, beamforming, BSS Coloring, band steering, and MLO for advanced wireless networking.
For voice and peripheral connectivity, the routing-type ONT includes one POTS port and one USB 2.0 interface. The POTS port supports multiple voice codecs, fax modes, DTMF, and emergency calls with SIP, while USB supports FTP-based network storage, SAMBA file and print sharing, and DLNA functionality.
The GPON interface uses an SC/APC connector and supports Class B+, 1310 nm upstream and 1490 nm downstream wavelengths, flexible GEM Port and TCONT mapping, bidirectional FEC, and SR-DBA and NSR-DBA. With a compact 40 mm × 150 mm × 108 mm form factor, low 5 W static power consumption, and 0°C to 40°C operating temperature range, the EG8145B7N-50 is suited to residential and broadband access deployments.
