The Huawei OptiXstar EG8145X6-10 is a GPON Wi-Fi 6 Routing Type Optical Network Terminal designed to provide high-speed broadband access and intelligent home networking. It combines GPON connectivity with advanced dual-band Wi-Fi 6 technology in a compact 35 mm × 195 mm × 125 mm design.
The EG8145X6-10 uses next-generation Wi-Fi 6 technology with 2 × 2 MIMO, 1024QAM modulation, and 160 MHz frequency bandwidth. These wireless features provide enhanced network performance for connected devices and support efficient broadband access throughout the home.
For smart services, the Huawei OptiXstar EG8145X6-10 supports scheduled Wi-Fi shutdown, smart Wi-Fi sharing with Portal or 802.1x authentication, and SoftGRE-based sharing. Smart interconnection features include smart Wi-Fi coverage, SIP/H.248 auto-negotiation, any port any service, and parental control.
The ONT also provides smart operation and maintenance capabilities for network management and troubleshooting. These include IPTV video quality diagnosis, eMDI, rogue ONT detection and isolation from the OLT, call emulation, circuit and loop-line testing, PPPoE/DHCP simulation testing, and WLAN emulation.
The Huawei OptiXstar EG8145X6-10 provides 4 × GE ports, 1 × POTS port, dual-band 2.4G/5G Wi-Fi, and 1 × USB interface. It features 128 M Flash and 256 M RAM, operates from 0°C to 40°C, and supports 100–240 V AC power adapter input with 6 W static and 18 W maximum power consumption.
