Huawei OptiXstar P615E-L1 GPON 24 Ports PoE Optical Network Unit
Huawei OptiXstar P615E-L1 is a GPON Optical Network Unit designed for high-density fiber access and PoE-enabled Ethernet connectivity. It features 2 GPON NNI interfaces and 24 GE UNI ports with PoE+ support, providing a practical solution for connecting and powering multiple network devices through a single access platform.
The Huawei OptiXstar P615E-L1 supports GPON transmission with an upstream rate of 1.244 Gbit/s and downstream rate of 2.488 Gbit/s. Its 24 RJ-45 GE ports support 10/100/1000 Mbit/s auto-negotiation, Auto-MDI/MDIX, VLAN transparent transmission, and VLAN filtering for flexible Ethernet network deployment.
Each PoE+ port can provide up to 30 W, with a maximum total PoE output power of 370 W. This allows the GPON ONU to support connected PoE devices while simplifying cabling in enterprise, commercial, and other network installations where both data connectivity and power delivery are required.
For network protection, the Huawei OptiXstar P615E-L1 provides 802.1x authentication, IPv6/IPv4 firewalls, MAC/IP/URL-based filtering, DoS and ARP anti-attack functions, static MAC address binding, and device access control. These features help provide controlled and secure access for connected network devices.
The unit supports Type B and Type C single-homing and dual-homing protection for GPON networking and is designed for 19-inch cabinet, rack, or network box installation. With an operating temperature range of –25°C to +55°C and IP20 protection, the P615E-L1 is suited to a range of indoor network access environments.
