The TKM Series digital in-line paddle wheel flow meter sensor has been designed for tough industrial applications. The TKM series chemical paddlewheel flow meter sensor has been engineered to provide long-term accurate flow measurement. Engineered for both corrosive and non-corrosive liquids. The plastic in-line flow meter sensor is equipped with a 360° rotatable vivid LED display showing both Flow Rate & Flow Total. The paddle wheel liquid flow sensor provides both frequency and 4-20mA output signals. The re-engineered low-drag, fluid-dynamic design of the paddle wheel allows it to stand alone as the industry’s most accurate flow meter sensor.
The TKM series plastic flow meter sensors incorporate an all new re-designed air-foil designed rotor that reduces turbulence and drag as the liquid passes by up to 92%. The zirconium rotor pin has been polished to a mirror finish and provides superior chemical and wear resistance over a metal pin. It should be noted that the rotor has been outfitted with two (2) ceramic bushings. This allows for much finer rotor pin to paddle alignment and greatly reduces paddle wobble that occurs without bushings. Icon’s liquid flow meters incorporate a Tefzel® paddle coupled with a zirconium ceramic rotor pin and bushings. The TKM in-line paddle wheel flow meter sensor incorporates a true-union design with body materials available in PVC, PP, and PVDF. The TK3M Series Stainless Steel Flow Meter Sensor has a 316SS body and is available with NPT, flanged, or sanitary end connections.
