iDirect SMB3310 SMA 50 Ohm Connector Board Satellite Modem
The iDirect SMB3310 is a satellite modem development platform with SMA 50 Ohm connectors for transmit and receive interfaces. It provides a compact design for satellite communication applications requiring flexible RF, data, management, and modem interfaces.
The transmit interface operates from 950 to 2400 MHz with a TX level of -55 dBm to +5 dBm. It provides a 24VDC, 3.8A BUC power supply, along with a 10 MHz BUC reference and 3 dBm BUC reference level.
The receive interface covers 950 to 2150 MHz and includes 13/18VDC, 500mA LNB power. LNB band selection and polarization selection are programmable using 13/18V or 22 kHz tone configurations.
The modem provides four 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports with auto MDI/MDIX and an RJ45 console port for management. Supported network protocols include UDP, IPv4 and IPv6, ICMP, TCP, IGMPv1, IGMPv2, ARP, DHCP, DNS, NTP, BGP, NAT, and Diffserv Marking.
The SMB3310 supports DVB-S2/DVB-S2X, MF-TDMA, Mx-DMA, and SCPC network configurations with multiple modulation and symbol-rate options. Its compact housing measures 18.29 cm x 23.62 cm x 2.18 cm and weighs 0.4 kg, with operation from -25° to +55°C subject to adequate heatsinking.
