RAKwireless IoT LPWAN Gateway RAK2247 SX1301 Mini PCIe LoRa Concentrator Module (USB Interface)

 

The RAK2247 is an upgraded version of the RAK833, maintaining the same compact mPCIe form factor and the same easy integration process as its predecessor, while introducing several key enhancements.

One major improvement is the increased maximum transmission power, which enables a longer communication range and provides wider LoRaWAN network coverage.

To ensure reliable performance, the module now includes a heat sink, improving thermal management and allowing stable operation even under demanding conditions.

Additionally, the board design has been enhanced with the introduction of a second SAW filter. This significantly improves interference resistance compared to the previous generation. As LoRaWAN® networks continue to expand and support a growing number of connected nodes, this enhanced interference immunity—combined with the excellent −139 dBm receiver sensitivity—will be critical for maintaining strong and reliable network performance.
