The MATE MKB-290-PNLM, Rugged Panel Mount Keyboard with Backlight is a high quality rugged metal keyboard designed with silicone keys and an integrated touchpad. Its compact panel mounted design provides keyboard and mouse functions in one unit for applications where space and durability are important.

The keyboard uses antimicrobial silicone rubber and has an IP68 waterproof and dustproof design. It can be cleaned or disinfected, and the ON/OFF button can be used to lock the keyboard. Custom layout and logo options are also available while cleaning.

A capacitive touchpad is integrated to provide mouse function, while the backlight has 4 adjustable levels for darkened conditions. The keyboard includes function keys F1-F12 and numericpad for easy and fast operation. It also uses a USB plug-and-play interface.

The MATE MKB-290-PNLM has a black colour and white backlight. Its key switches are rated for more than 5 million actuations, while the keyboard operates with a 5.0VDC +/-5% power supply. The specified dimensions are 307.0 x 77.0 (L*W).

Designed for demanding operating environments, the keyboard operates from -20°C to +55°C and has a storage temperature range of -30°C to +60°C. It also supports an atmospheric pressure range of 60-106Kpa and is certified to CE/FCC/ RoHS/IP68.
