The MATE MKG-08-B, Wall Mounted Keyboard for Operating Theatre is a wall mounted keyboard console designed for operating theatre environments. It uses a swivel-mounted aluminium console that can be mounted on vertical surfaces and supports the MKB-108-PL keyboard.

The console provides a 105 rotation angle from the vertical position to the operating position and includes an integrated rotation damper. A cleaning lock function makes cleaning easier, while the surface can be cleaned with hospital grade antibacterial wipes and sprays. The keyboard can also be operated with gloves.

The MATE MKG-08-B features an adjustable backlight and a hidden wires design that keeps messy wires out of sight. It also includes a mouse tray and an integrated power switch. The front is sealed according IP67 for protection in the specified environment.

An integrated USB 3.0 Hub provides 2 external DS-ports and is connected to the host via a USB3.0 cable by default. An integrated DVD/rw is also available as an optional feature.

The console uses a 100% silicone keyboard that is latex free and an aluminum alloy housing with surface sandblasting + anodizing. The keyboard has a minimum key life of 6000000 actuations per key, operates with 150mA@5V power, and supports an operation temperature of -20 °C to +65 °C.
