Moxa EDS-G205-1GTXSFP, Unmanaged Full Gigabit Ethernet Switch
The Moxa EDS-G205-1GTXSFP is an unmanaged full Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for industrial networks that need simple and reliable Ethernet connectivity. It provides four 10/100/1000BaseT(X) RJ45 ports and one combo port supporting 10/100/1000BaseT(X) or 100/1000BaseSFP+, giving users flexibility when connecting copper and fiber network devices.
The switch supports auto negotiation speed, full/half duplex mode, and Auto MDI/MDI-X connection on its Ethernet ports. It also supports IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3ab, IEEE 802.3u, IEEE 802.3x, IEEE 802.3z, and IEEE 802.3az standards for Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, flow control, 1000BaseX, and energy-efficient Ethernet operation.
For network protection and flexible operation, the EDS-G205-1GTXSFP includes DIP switch configuration options for broadcast storm protection, Jumbo Frame, IEEE 802.3az energy saving, 100/1000 SFP speed switching, and port break alarm. Its 8 K MAC table, 1 Mbits packet buffer, 10 KB jumbo frame size, and store and forward processing support efficient handling of industrial Ethernet traffic.
The switch is designed for industrial installations with a metal housing and IP30 rating. A removable 6-contact terminal block supports 12/24/48 VDC input voltage with redundant dual inputs, while reverse polarity protection helps protect the device during power connection. It can be installed on a DIN rail or mounted on a wall with an optional kit.
With an operating temperature range of -10 to 60°C and storage temperature of -40 to 85°C, the Moxa EDS-G205-1GTXSFP is suitable for industrial automation, control networks, machine connectivity, and other applications where dependable Ethernet communication and straightforward network expansion are required.
