NVIDIA/Mellanox Compatible 800GBASE-2xXDR4 OSFP Transceiver Module
The NVIDIA/Mellanox Compatible 800GBASE-2xXDR4 OSFP transceiver module is designed for 800G Ethernet connectivity in compatible SN5610 Series Switch applications. It features a Twin-port OSFP form factor and supports a transmission distance of up to 2km over single-mode fiber.
The module operates at a 1310nm wavelength and uses dual MTP/MPO-12 APC connectors for optical connectivity. Its 800GBASE-2xXDR4 configuration is designed for high-speed data center networking applications.
For optical transmission and reception, the transceiver uses EML and PIN technologies respectively. Both the electrical and optical modulation use 8x106.25Gb/s PAM4.
With a power consumption of ≤16W, the module is designed for high-bandwidth 800G Ethernet applications. It operates within a case temperature range of 0 to 70°C (32 to 158°F).
The transceiver uses SMF media and is 800G Ethernet compliant. Its IHS/Closed Finned Top design is intended for compatible high-speed networking equipment requiring 800G optical connectivity.
