The Netscout nGenius Edge Sensor 795 is a rack-mountable network monitoring hardware appliance designed for network visibility, monitoring, and synthetic testing. It provides dedicated 10GbE SFP+ and 1GbE RJ45 monitoring ports for connecting to network infrastructure and monitoring traffic.

The appliance includes four 10GbE SFP+ monitoring ports and three additional 1GbE LAN ports, providing flexible connectivity for network monitoring applications. It also features a dedicated 1GbE RJ45 port for synthetic tests and a Wi-Fi radio for wireless synthetic testing.

For management and administration, the nGenius Edge Sensor 795 provides a 1GbE management port and RJ45 console port, along with two USB 3.0 Type-A ports. Storage includes a 128GB NVMe SSD and 2.4TB SAS storage configured in RAID 1 for reliable data storage.

The system uses 500W hot-swappable power supplies, supporting either 110V/220V AC/DC or -48V DC/DC configurations. Its 1RU rack-mount design with removable rack ears makes it suitable for deployment in standard network equipment racks.
