Nokia Lightspan DF-32GM 32-Port GPON 1RU Mini Optical Line Terminal (OLT)
The Nokia Lightspan DF-32GM is a compact 1RU Mini Optical Line Terminal designed for multiservice broadband access networks. It supports IPTV, multimedia services, high-speed internet access, business access, and 5G Mobile Anyhaul applications.
The Lightspan DF-32GM provides flexible downlink options with 16-port Multi-PON supporting GPON, XGS-PON, and Multi-PON mode. It also supports 32-port GPON using Dual-GPON SFP-DD optics and is hardware ready for 8-port 25G PON.
For high-capacity network aggregation, the Nokia OLT provides 4 x 100 GigE using QSFP28 cages and 2 x 1 or 10 GigE using SFP+ cages. Its 600 Gb/s bidirectional switching matrix provides high-speed switching for demanding access networks.
The platform supports SyncE frequency synchronization and IEEE 1588v2 PTP frequency and phase synchronization. SDN controllability is provided through NETCONF/YANG, while IPFIX supports bulk statistics collection and the Nokia Altiplano Access Controller provides centralized management.
Designed for demanding deployment environments, the Nokia Lightspan DF-32GM operates from -40°C to +65°C and includes over-temperature sensors and shutdown protection. It uses a replaceable low-noise fan module and dust filter, with field-replaceable AC, DC, and battery backup power modules.
