Nokia ONT G-1425G-B Dual-band Wi-Fi 5 Optical Network Terminal
Nokia ONT G-1425G-B is a dual-band Wi-Fi 5 Optical Network Terminal designed for GPON broadband access and residential network connectivity. It combines a GPON uplink, Gigabit Ethernet, dual-band WLAN, and VoIP functionality in a compact desktop or wall-mountable design.
The GPON interface supports 2.488 Gb/s downstream and 1.244 Gb/s upstream line rates, with 1490 nm downstream and 1310 nm upstream wavelengths. It uses a BOSA On Board laser with an SC/APC connector and supports ITU-T G.984.3 features including dynamic bandwidth reporting, AES downstream encryption, and forward error correction.
For wired networking, the Nokia G-1425G-B provides 10/100/1000Base-T connectivity with RJ-45 connectors and supports Ethernet auto-negotiation or manual configuration. VLAN tagging and de-tagging, IEEE 802.1p marking, ToS/DSCP mapping, CoS, and IGMP v2/v3 snooping support efficient traffic handling for broadband and multimedia services.
The integrated dual-band WLAN supports 802.11b/g/n and 802.11ac with 2x2 MIMO, providing Wi-Fi 5 wireless connectivity for compatible devices. WPA, WPA-PSK/TKIP, WPA2, WPA2-PSK/AES, and MAC filtering provide wireless security options for residential deployments.
The Nokia ONT G-1425G-B also includes one FXS port for VoIP services and supports SIP, multiple voice codecs, echo cancellation, caller ID, call waiting, call hold, 3-way calling, call transfer, and message waiting indication. IPv4/IPv6, PPPoE, IPoE, NAT, firewall, DHCP, DNS proxy, IGMP proxy, TR-069, and optional USB 2.0 connectivity provide additional residential gateway capabilities.
