Nokia XS-2426X-A XGS-PON Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 Optical Network Terminal (ONT)
The Nokia XS-2426X-A is an XGS-PON Optical Network Terminal designed to deliver high-speed broadband connectivity with dual-band Wi-Fi 6, multi-gigabit Ethernet, VoIP, and residential gateway functionality. It supports desk or wall mounting for flexible installation.
The XGS-PON uplink complies with G.9807.1 and uses an SC/APC connector, with 1260 nm–1280 nm upstream and 1575 nm–1580 nm downstream wavelengths. It supports a 10 G burst-mode upstream transmitter, 10 G downstream receiver, XGEM framing, flexible XGEM port and T-CONT mapping, AES-128 encryption, FEC, secure boot, and remote software image download.
For wired networking, the Nokia XS-2426X-A provides three RJ-45 interfaces supporting 10M/100M/1G and one RJ-45 auto-negotiating interface supporting 100M/1G/2.5G/5G/10G. It supports IEEE 802.1Q virtual switching, VLAN tagging and de-tagging, IEEE 802.1P marking, Class of Service, and IGMP v2/v3 snooping.
The dual-band Wi-Fi 6 system provides 4x4 MIMO on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, with a 3 dBi internal antenna. Wireless security includes WPA, WPA-PSK/TKIP, WPA2, WPA2-PSK/AES, and WPA3, along with MAC filtering for network access control.
The Nokia XS-2426X-A also includes two RJ-11 FXS ports for VoIP, one USB 3.0 interface, and residential gateway functions including IPv4/IPv6, PPPoE, IPoE, NAT, DMZ, firewall, DHCP, DNS proxy, IGMP proxy, TR-069, and TR-369. It operates from -5°C to 45°C with power consumption below 36 W.
