The Nokia XS-2437X-B is an XGS-PON Optical Network Terminal designed for high-speed residential broadband and advanced wireless connectivity. It combines XGS-PON uplink access with tri-band Wi-Fi 7, multi-gigabit Ethernet, VoIP, and residential gateway functions.

The XGS-PON interface uses an SC/APC connector and supports 1260 nm–1280 nm upstream and 1575 nm–1580 nm downstream wavelengths. It provides a 10 G burst-mode upstream transmitter, 10 G downstream receiver, G.9807.1-compliant XGEM framing, flexible XGEM port and T-CONT mapping, AES-128, FEC, secure boot, and remote software image download.

 

For wired connectivity, the Nokia XS-2437X-B features one RJ-45 100M/1G/2.5G/5G/10G auto-negotiating interface and three RJ-45 10M/100M/1G interfaces. It supports Layer 2/Layer 3 forwarding, IEEE 802.1Q virtual switching, VLAN tagging and de-tagging, IEEE 802.1P priority marking, CoS, and IGMP v2/v3 snooping.

The tri-band Wi-Fi 7 system provides 4x4 MIMO on 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands, with MU-MIMO and MU-OFDMA support. Wi-Fi security includes WPA-PSK, WPA2, and WPA3, while maximum EIRP reaches up to 1000 mW on 2.4 GHz, 2000 mW on 5 GHz, and 1000 mW on 6 GHz in LPI mode.

The Nokia XS-2437X-B also includes two FXS RJ-11 ports for VoIP services, one USB 3.0 interface, and residential gateway features including IPv4/IPv6, PPPoE/IPoE, NAT, DMZ, firewall, DHCP, DNS proxy, IGMP proxy, TR-069, TR-369, and TR-143. It supports desk or wall mounting and operates from -5°C to 45°C.
