The Norsat 3220N is a C-Band PLL LNB designed for satellite signal reception and frequency conversion. It belongs to the Norsat 3000 Series and supports the C-Band frequency range of 3.40 to 4.20 GHz.

This LNB uses a single-band PLL local oscillator operating at 5.15 GHz. It converts the received C-Band signal to an L-Band output frequency range of 950 to 1750 MHz, making it suitable for satellite communication and receiving systems.

The Norsat 3220N provides a 20 K noise figure and 62 dB typical conversion gain. It offers a gain variation of ≤6.0 dB peak-to-peak across the operating band, with input VSWR of 2.2:1 and output VSWR of 2.5:1.

For reliable signal conversion, the unit provides phase noise of -80 dBc/Hz at 1 kHz, -85 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz, and -95 dBc/Hz at 100 kHz offsets. The output P1dB compression point is 9 dBm, while the L.O. stability is specified at ±10 kHz.

The Norsat 3220N operates from 12 to 24 V DC with a current drain of 250 mA. It features a CPR 229G grooved waveguide RF input and a Type-N RF output. With dimensions of 145 × 70 × 99 mm and a weight of 500 g, it supports operation from -40°C to +60°C and storage from -40°C to +80°C.
