NSI RKTE85B0001-W-MC1, US Qwerty Panel Mount Keyboard with Ergonomic Trackball
The NSI RKTE85B0001-W-MC1 is a US Qwerty panel mount keyboard designed for applications that require a compact keyboard with an integrated ergonomic pointing device. It features 85 full travel rubber keys and a 38 mm ergonomic trackball, providing keyboard and pointing functions in one panel mount unit.
The keyboard has a sealed frontal rated to IP67 and uses a 1,6 m USB cable for output. It is powered directly from the USB port, so no external power supply is necessary. The keyboard has a switch force of 300 grams ± 100 grams, a switch stroke of 1,5 mm, and switches rated for 1 million actuations.
The integrated trackball uses a Ø38,1 mm (1.5”) epoxy resin ball with PTFE sealing and an infrared optical navigation technology tracking engine. The removable PC/ABS black ring allows the ball to be removed for easy cleaning. A Hall effect scroll wheel and left/right switches provide additional pointing control.
The keyboard features dimmable white backlighting with 8 levels controlled by two dedicated keys using the FN key and arrow up/down. Low power LEDs are designed for long life, while other backlight colours are available on request. The compact thickness and panel mount design allow the keyboard to be integrated into suitable control panels.
The NSI RKTE85B0001-W-MC1 is fully compliant with IEC60945 and uses front panel mounting with M3 studs. It measures 415 x 145 x 79 mm and weighs 0,7 kg. With its sealed frontal, waterproof ergonomic trackball, compact 85-key layout, and USB-powered design, it is suited for marine and other demanding panel-mounted applications.
