The QNAP QSN-3050 combines an Intel® Xeon® E-2378 processor with 128 GB ECC DDR4 memory and 30 drive bays in a 4U rackmount design. Its storage configuration supports 24 x 3.5-inch SATA hard disk drives and 6 x 2.5-inch SATA solid state drives, giving users flexible drive options within the same server.

The server also supports SSD cache acceleration and hot-swappable drives, with hot-swapping not supported for M.2 SSDs. Its connectivity includes 2 x 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 2 x 10GBASE-T ports, while 25 Gigabit Ethernet is available through a PCIe adapter. Three PCIe slots, including 2 x Gen4 x4 and 1 x Gen4 x8, provide the specified expansion options.
